Riffs Bicycle Bar in Belgium

When traveling, you always have to choose a favorite place to rest. Riffs Motorcycle Bar in the town of Tessenderlo was the place Julian picked before heading to the south of Belgium. Very cool atmosphere and furnishings, with a big Harley motorcycle on the counter. There was live music on the weekends, but unfortunately Julian had to miss it to continue his trip, and he looks forward to coming back one day to enjoy it.

Luxembourg - An Unexpected Surprise

Luxembourg was not originally on the itinerary, but Julian is glad he went. There are straight roads that can be freely driven by motocross, and it seems to have no end. Riding a motocross bike around is very fun and the scenery is beautiful.

Black Forest Storm Adventure

On his first day riding into the Black Forest in Germany, Julian encountered dark skies and had to stop by a lake after covering about 200 kilometers. He stayed there for a while before returning 70 kilometers to his Airbnb. The next morning, ride to the top of the mountain to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

In the evening, Julian tried to escape a storm at the top of the Black Forest, but the wind and rain quickly caught up, trapping him in a downpour for three hours. He struggled through the storm and reached another peak after an hour of riding, and finally took two hours to return to the Airbnb for the night. The storm was just one test in his journey.

 Stelvio’s Stunning Peaks in Italy

Julian's journey took him to the Stelvio mountain range in Italy, where he reached a breathtaking peak at 2,236 meters above sea level. The Dolomites' beauty captivated him, especially when cows greeted him at the summit. Even in the summer, as he ascended to 2,757 meters, the Stelvio landscape transformed, creating a unique and unforgettable atmosphere. The descent was an experience that Julian would never forget.

Giau's Scenic Splendor in the Dolomites

Giau Pass in the Dolomites, Italy, sits at 2,236m above sea level. Julian found it to be one of the most scenic mountain peaks he's ever seen, with the charm of the Dolomites enhanced by the friendly cows that greeted him at the top.

On the second day, Julian rode up to Sella Pass, standing at 2,218m. Although the initial part of the ride was crowded and less inspiring, the traffic thinned out as he ascended, revealing the breathtaking views of the Dolomites that made the journey truly memorable.

Swiss Alpine Umbrail Pass Exploration

Before Julian reaches Stelvio pass from Switzerland, he tackles Umbrail pass. While not as grand as Stelvio, this route climbs to 2503m, meandering through narrow forest roads and tight hairpin turns. Umbrail isn't just a warm-up; it's a technical challenge that primes Julian for the grandeur and steep descent of Stelvio ahead.
